- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from East Carolina University in 1985. Took Public Administration Courses from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro 2004-2005
- Chief Godette-Crawford has worked at the NC Office of EMS since 1993. Prior to that, she worked at the Mid East Commission in Washington, NC where she was the EMS Director from June 1985 - October 1986, and the JTPA Director from October 1986 - September 1993.
- While at the NC Office of EMS, she has been the Regional Coordinator, HRSA Project Coordinator, Assistant Chief - Administration, and Interim Chief.
- In March 2011, Chief Godette-Crawford became chief of the NC Office of EMS.
