Burn Care for the Experienced Provider
The Burn Care for the Experienced Provider Course is a day long course (6.75 contact hours) developed by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center, along with Wake Forest University and East Carolina University.
Topics discussed during this course include:
- North Carolina Burn Plan and Protocols Update (Thermal Burn, Chemical Burn, Electrical Burn, Blast Considerations)
- Care of Multiple Burn Patients (Prehospital considerations. State, Regional, and National Planning)
- Radiation Burns
- Pediatric Burns
- Care of the Burn Patient
